We will be hosting a Hog Wild Mud Run at Busco Beach in Goldsboro NC on April 13, 2013. Portion of registration will benefit Boys and Girls Club of Goldsboro. This 5k obstacle course run will have wicked obstacles and of course lot's of mud pits that are sure to be challenging, but rewarding. We have planned for you 15 of the most challenging obstacles we could put together and some of the toughest terrain we were able to find. The event will be followed by a Bar-B-Que festival with cold beverages for all participants and spectators. Awards and ceremonies will be for 1st-10th. Photo ops available for an additional fee on-site. We will offer VIP packages for an additional $20. This includes VIP parking, custom event shirt, extra drink ticket, and a free photo in memorabilia frame for you to remember this exciting day. Portion of proceeds to be donated to Boys and Girls Club. Discounted hotel accommodations provided by our 2013 Extreme Sponsor Comfort Suites Goldsboro. Important Update! "Pig Wild" Kids Mud Run - We didn't want to leave the kids out of the action so we have a race planned just for them! The kids mud run will take place after the adult runs. Who's going to have better times? Mom and Dad or son and daughter? Guess you'll have to bring your kids to find out. Kids registrations must be completed separately after you have completed your adult registration. Ages 4-7 $15 and Ages 8-15 $20
What do the winners get at the Hog Wild Extreme Mud Run? 1st-3rd get an Extreme Promotions custom plaque displaying a picture of them crossing the finish line and their finishing position, a custom event shirt, 1 extra drink ticket, AND...... 1st $150, 2nd $100, and 3rd $50 cold hard cash. 4th-10th will receive a plaque, an event shirt, and will be recognized during awards as well. ALL participants will get a free meal ticket for the Bar-B-Que & Music festival and a FREE drink ticket to the after party Bar Hop. Starts at 2 on April 13th after the Bar-B-Que festival and last until!

Attention Parents of Kid Participants: It is your responsibility to contact us to adjust your shceduled run time to be able to both supervise your children and be available during their scheduled run time of 11:30am.
General Course Info: Should any start time exceed the course max participant cap it will be split into 15 minute increments (I.e 9:00am and 9:15am). You may skip any obstacle you choose but you must stop and allow the staff at that obstacle mark your runner bib therefore eliminating you from qualifying for the 1st-10th awards. Maps to get you from the mud run to the festival, and then to downtown Goldsboro will be provided.

- Bring bags to put your dirty clothes/shoes in
- Bring any toiletry items that you may need to use after the fire trucks hose you down

Obstacle List1. Squill Pig Tire Deal: Run through a few hundered tires in slippery mud carrying a greasy pig
2. Slop-N-Slide Mud Dive: dive into a mud pit and then crawl under barb wire through the mud 3. Tall Squall Wall Climb: Climb straight up a sky high wall and then back down 4. Pre-Slaughter Wash: swim through the water climbing over slippery obstacles 5. Seegars Fence Mountin: Climb up and over a huge mountain made of fence 6. Crazy Hog Tunnel Crawl: crawl through tunnels in the mud 7. Seegars Fence Trench: Crawl under Seegars fence through mud (ranging 0-12" off ground) 8. Lumberjack Log Climb: Climb over and across a huge log pile 9. Pork Cleaver Log Weaver: Balance yourself on log beams over a mud pit 10. Seegars fence Hurdle's: Jump and/or climb over fence hurdles 11. Pork Fork Tire Pendulem: Run through a tunnel of hanging tires swinging like pendulems 12. Slippery Wild Pig Climb: climb up a huge, steep, slippery hill and slide down other side 13. Sideways Wall Rock Climb: Climb sideways on a long rock climb style wall 14. Reverse Wall Hog Fall: Decend own a steep slope backwards using a rope to guide yourself 15. Bar-B-Que Grill: Grill yourslf as you run through burning fire pits 16. Hill's Tire Climb: Climb up a muddy hill through tires 17. Aftermath Bath: Wade through muddy water with the Finish line in sight |
